* For best results drop a cartridge of 4 the Bird Gel in a standard 10" caulking gun and apply to ledges, windowsills, gutters, cornices, ornamental copings and protruding beams-any surface where birds roost or perch.

Tips For The Treatment

* Surface Preparation:

Clean surfaces to be treated to promote adhesion of repellent. Wipe or scrape all dust, dirt, droppings, and other loose debris from surfaces. Seal porous surfaces prior to treatment by brushing on one coat of shellac or a 50% solution of white glue, and allow to dry.

* Product Application:

Use with a caulking gun or putty knife to apply this product. Press against surface to ensure good adhesion. To treat ledges or sills, apply beads of repellent from 1/4" wide for starlings and pigeons : and 1/8" wide for sparrows. One ounce of product will cover one linear foot at the bead width indicated for starlings and pigeons. Less product would be needed per linear feet at the bead width indicated for house sparrows. A second treatment may be necessary if product becomes flattened by heavy bird traffic.

* Product Cleanup

Use mineral spirits to remove product from treated surfaces, equipment or other contaminated articles.

Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skins, eyes or clothing. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation persists.

Small birds may become fatally entrapped by this tacky repellent. To reduce hazards to legally protected species, and to avoid noncompliance with Federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act, follow all instructions in the Directions for Use.

Do Not Apply to any surfaces where workers, or others may step on the material, as it may be slippery, especially if wet.

Dr T's Bat-Away Repellent

For bat control, bird control and squirrel control sprinkle Dr. T's Bat-A-Way indoors in well-ventilated areas. Bats, birds and squirrels will depart from the area within a short time. After departure, seal up all openings and cracks from which bats, birds, and squirrels can enter. Even the smallest hole or crack can be their doorway in. Bat-A-Way bat repellent, bird repellent and squirrel repellent can also be used by placing two ounces of product into a mesh bag or cheesecloth of some kind or a butter dish and placed in specific areas for spot treatments and easy removal. This system is very easy and can be very effective. (note - make a removable system out of plastic butter dish with small holes in the top, panty hose or cheese cloth)

Dr. T's Bat-A-Way bat repellent, bird repellent and squirrel repellent can also be used outdoors for rabbit control. At the first signs of growth of roses, spring bulbs and flowers or other plants, protect them from rabbits by applying one or more inch-wide bands around the area to be protected to discourage visitation to these areas.

Do not apply Bat-A-Way bird and squirrel repellent to foliage or to stems. Hot weather and strong winds may necessitate more frequent applications
