GET RID OF ANTS

Maxforce FireAnt

Maxforce FireAnt

Active Ingredient: Hydramethylnon 1%

Target pests: Imported and Native Fire Ants, as well as Harvester and Big Headed Ants.

For use in: In and around buildings, on lawns, and other non-crop areas.

Application area: broadcast treatment: 1-2 lbs. per acre / mounds: 2-5 tablespoons

DESCRIPTION: Maxforce Fire Ant Bait Granular is for the control of native and imported fire ants. Fire ant mounds can go as deep as 15 feet below the surface, and have numerous queens. Drenching the mound with an insecticide in most cases will not be sufficient to eradicate the colony. Maxforce Fire Ant Bait is meant for the worker ants to carry the product back to the colony and feed it to the other ants. Its delayed-action kill ensures that the fire ant bait is spread throughout the colony before it takes effect.

USE: Maxforce Fire Ant Bait is best applied with a hand spreader. Do not apply more than 2 lbs. per acre. Can be applied inside homes and buildings around non-food areas. For direct application around mounds, distribute bait uniformly around the mound. DO NOT apply residual insecticides or sprays near baits as these will deter ants from taking the bait.

Advance 375A Select Granular Ant Bait

Advance 375A Select Granular Ant Bait

Advance 375A Select Ant Bait is a protein-based bait that eliminates common varieties of household ants such as Acrobat, Argentine, Bigheaded, Carpenter, Crazy, Field, Fire, Harvester, Little Black, Pavement, Pharaoh, Odorous House and Thief Ants. 8 oz.

Active Ingredient: Abamectin - .011%

DESCRIPTION: Advance 375A Select Ant Bait is a protein-based bait that eliminates common varieties of household ants such as Acrobat, Argentine, Bigheaded, Carpenter, Crazy, Field, Fire, Harvester, Little Black, Pavement, Pharaoh, Odorous House and Thief Ants. Advance™ can be used indoors and outdoors to control the ant population. This bait formulation provides for the ant's dietary needs while using the delayed-action insecticide Abamectin. We recommend using this product together with Maxforce FC Ant Killer Bait Gel.

USE: Advance 375A Select Granular Ant Bait can be used outdoors as a broadcast application around and close to the perimeter of the structure (8oz. per 1/2 acre), or on the interior inside wall voids. Do not use in areas that have been treated with insecticides or sprays. This will cause the bait to be unattractive to the ants. Always read the label!

Pt brand Advance 375A select granular ant bait uses special proteins and carbohydrates combined with a uniques corn grit matrix that quickly entices these "select" ants to readily take the bait back to the colony. Once the bait is consumed, the reliable active ingredienct, abamectin B1, quickly reduces populations to acceptable levels.

Abamectin B1 is a GABA inhibitor that interferes with the normal functioning of an insect's nervous system and begins affecting ant populations within 24 hours. This type of insecticide allows the ants time to take the bait back to the nest where it is distributed throughout the colony. Reproduction of the colony halts once the queens have been eliminated and the workers, who carried the bait, perish.

Instructions:

ADVANCE 375A Select Granular Ant Bait is a ready to use product for use in controlling numorous ants both indoors and outdoors. This bait formulation combines a mixture of foods and the delayed action insecticide, Abamectin. This insecticide acts to reduce the population of worker ants and can cause an immediate halt in egg production resulting in colony elimination. Avoid use of other insecticides or sprays on or near this product.

OUTDOORS BROADCAST APPLICATION: Use this product at a rate of 8 oz. per 1/2 acre. This is equivalent to approximately 1.8 ounces per 5000 sq. ft., or 0.4 ounces per 1,000 sq. ft. (One tablespoon equals approximately 0.3 oz. of bait.) Apply the product as uniformly as possible. Repeat application as necessary. AROUND STRUCTURES: Lightly sprinkle the product evenly in a band approximately 1-2 feet wide around the foundation of the building. Treat visible trails with approximately 0.3 to 1 ounce of product depending on the number of ants in the trail. Repeat application as necessary. INDIVIDUAL COLONY OR MOUND TREATMENT: Use 1.5 to 2.1 ounces of product per mound. Apply the product at the edge of the mound. Repeat application as necessary.

INDOORS LOCATE ANT ACTIVITY: Follow ants back to voids. Apply product to cracks and crevices or voids where ants are active. In heavily traveled sites use up to 1.5 ounces of product. Use a large Centrobulb* puffer or other appropriate application device to place the product into crevices or voids. Repeat application as necessary.

What is Niban Granular Bait and Niban-FG

They are granulated baits containing five percent boric acid as the active ingredient and a combination of both protein and carbohydrate attractants.

What insects will Niban Granular Bait and Niban-FG control?

They are labeled for the control of cockroaches, crickets, silverfish, and ants, including carpenter ants.

Does either bait have an odor?

There is no detectible pesticide odor. The only odor is that of the food based attractant.

Will Niban irritate skin?

No.

What is the difference between Niban Granular Bait and Niban-FG?

Both products consist of the same formulation but have one significant difference. Niban Granular Bait contains only coarse particles; excellent for outdoor broadcast and perimeter applications. Niban-FG is made up of very small particles which allows it to be used in any type of dusting equipment. Niban-FG is excellent for indoor crack and crevice treatments.

How can I apply Niban Granular Bait?

With a mechanical spreader, power duster, plunger type duster or by hand.

What type of equipment is needed to apply Niban-FG?

Any type of dust applicator will work. For crack and crevice treatments, a bellows duster works best. For broadcast applications in attics and crawl spaces, the use of a power duster cuts application time considerably.

Can I use Niban-FG outdoors?

Yes. Small ants and silverfish often invade homes from the exterior. They build up in considerable numbers in flower beds, refuse areas, and under chips adjacent to a structure. It is frequently more effective to treat the source of the problem rather than trying to eliminate them after they have entered. Apply in a two-foot band around the perimeter of the home.

How long will Niban remain effective outdoors?

Based on studies, Niban Granular Bait remained effective until it was exposed to between one and a half and two inches of rainfall.
